Nowadays virtually every business regardless of its size or maturity, is impacted by international considerations. Come and develop the skills needed in international business! After that, you can support Finnish companies in international issues or those doing business with Finland.

The training is implemented as full-time studies and blended learning. Training includes face-to-face and online studies as well as studying independently.
The training includes a three-month on-the-job learning period in a company. The students have a key role in finding work placement for themselves but support will be provided for the placement seeking process. During on-the-job learning period the participants are students at Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
The training is conducted in English excluding Finnish language studies. Training is full-time, meaning about 35 hours of student input per week. Active attendance is required to complete the course. The training includes vacation during 23.12.2023-3.1.2024. Other holidays are not possible.

Target Group and Requirements
The primary target group are immigrants with a higher education degree who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment. The training is also suitable for Finns with a higher education who have stayed abroad for a long time or have the abilities to work in foreign trade due to their long experience. Diverse group is an asset itself in this training!
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of English
- Higher education degree
- Some former knowledge or experience in international trade
- Good enough or at least some knowledge of Finnish in order to have better opportunities to carry out on-the-job learning period in Finnish companies.

How to Apply
The application process contains two steps. Candidates must complete both steps for the application to be considered.
1. Fill in the application for TE services by using the Hae tähän koulutukseen -button below. If you fill in the application without ID verification, you need to verify your application at TE-office before the application period ends.
2. Fill in the application form for TAMK at website http://lomake.tamk.fi/lomakkeet/34588/lomakkeet.html . You can also attach your CV there.
The students are selected based on their applications and interviews. Your own interest and motivation are vital for achieving the objectives of the training. For this reason, you will be asked about them when filling in the applications. From your application we would like to learn and hear about your motivation and international background and a description of your Finnish language skills.
- Application period ends on 2.10.2023.
- The interviews will be held 11.10.-12.10.2023.
- The training starts on 30.10.2023 and the training ends on 29.5.2024.

Information about Labour Market Training
Labour market training is primarily intended for adults who are unemployed or at risk of losing their jobs.
During participation in labour market training, you are paid the unemployment benefit to which you would be entitled as an unemployed jobseeker. In addition you can be granted a supplementary amount and compensation for expenses.
